Early
October, 2002- Owner of "doomed" shelter pleads "no contest"
to charges of animal cruelty and failure to keep records! Throughout
this site, you've probably seen the words "doomed shelter" to
describe the place that many of these lucky kitties came from. Since it
looks like it's finally coming to a close, although there are 40, or so,
cats still missing, I don't really care to say too much on the subject.
I have, however, put up a copy of one of several articles written on the

Early
October, 2002- Rex finds a home! Sheila Eckert and her
family graciously took Rex in to their home this month. Since then Sheila
reports that he has been watching TV on her lap in the evenings and sleeping
on her bed at night. Despite a few heated run-ins with other feline and
canine members of the household, things are starting to settle down. The
most recent photos of Rex can be seen on the Meet the Family/Extended
Family page and I hope to have some shots of Rex, in his new home, within
the next few weeks. Way to go Rex!!
